- Transfer Application - Kemp ISD accepts student transfers from other school districts for no fee provided there is space in the students particular grade level and there is no prior attendance or discipline problems. Student transfer status is contingent upon maintenance of good attendance and discipline record.
Kemp ISD District Email Addresses
Parents and students can keep track of the student's progress via the Parent Portal.
Here are a couple of things to know and remember.
- The Parent Portal will be available from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm every day with one exception. On Saturday the portal will open at the regular time, 6:00 am, but it will close a half hour early at 10:30 pm.
- If you have trouble you need to contact the campus involved to verify the information and process.
- If the campus determines that the problem appears to be technical then the technology department will work with them to correct it.
Kemp ISD Head Start Program
The Kemp ISD Head Start program is currently accepting applications for enrollment. Head Start provides 3 and 4 year old children with a learning environment that helps them grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. There are income guidelines that all eligible families must fall within. Limited transportation may be available to children enrolled in the program. Children with disabilities are also welcome. Applications are available at Kemp Primary School or the Kemp Schools Administration Building. Bad Weather/Emergency Closing
When it becomes necessary to open late or to release students early, the following radio and television stations will be notified by school officials: Television Channels 4, 5, 8 or 11 and Radio stations: WBAP 820 AM or KRLD 1080 AM. A message will also be left at 903-498-1314.
