Thank you in advance for your time and willingness to share your views on the working conditions in your school.
Please be assured that your anonymity is guaranteed. No one in your school, the district or state will be able to view individual surveys, and reports on the results will not include data that could identify individuals. You are being asked demographic information to learn whether teachers from different backgrounds and different characteristics look at working conditions differently. The effectiveness of the survey is dependent upon your honest completion.
Your district has been selected to participate in this survey that was developed by members of the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Leadership Class of 2008. It has been designed to help school districts determine and examine non-monetary reasons why a teacher remains within a specific school district. While many districts conduct “exit” surveys to find out why a teacher leaves, we believe that it may be more effective to determine why a teacher stays. The results of this survey will help your local school board assess individual and organizational factors that lead to job satisfaction and to provide an environment necessary to achieve optimum student achievement and success.
To participate in the survey, just click on the link below, answer the questions and then click Submit Survey at the end. Your survey will then be sent directly to TASB.
